Our hero brand is Tregothnan – who yielded the first major crop for Britain’s first home-grown tea in 2005, after planting started in 1999 on the Tregothnan estate near Truro . Tregothnan produce some of the world’s rarest and highest rated teas – being ranked in the very top tier in the world at the 2019 Tea Epicure.
The Tregothnan Estate holds a wealth of history dating back to 1334, with the botanical gardens being home to some of the rarest plants and trees across the world. If you’re lucky to visit Cornwall when they hold one of their Charity Open Garden Days then you get to see it in all its splendour.
