On Tuesday 28th April, we welcomed a very special group of visitors to our solar-powered facility in Bodmin. Boosters, the well-regarded Cornish promotional merchandise distributor, made the trip to spend the day with us, and it turned out to be one of those visits that genuinely moves the needle.
Joining us were Craig Harrison, Sales Director at Boosters, and Donna Lee, their Managing Director. Our own team was Head of Sales Cara Hearn, General Manager Barney Knight and Managing Director Andy Knight.
Seeing the Full Picture
Like many of our distributor partners, Boosters had a solid working relationship with CHX Products already. What the visit made clear, however, was that there was a great deal more opportunity to explore together. Donna and Craig were candid in admitting that, whilst they knew us for keyrings and trolley coins (and we do sell millions of them), they had not appreciated the sheer breadth of products we manufacture here in Cornwall.
From standard recycled plastic merchandise through to our R+ biodegradable range, and through to fully bespoke items made to a customer’s specification, the range surprised them. You can see the full scope of what we make and our bespoke capabilities at the links below.

Hands On with the Products
There is something about physically handling products that photographs and artwork template sheets simply cannot replicate. Craig and Donna got involved at every stage of the tour, from seeing the injection moulding process through to printing and, right at the end of the process, fitting the keyring attachments to finished Boosters-branded merchandise that they took away as a memento of the day.
We also took time to walk them through our most recently launched products, all of which landed well, as well as giving them a glimpse of what is launching soon – if you would like to get an early look at our up and coming products, get in touch with Cara.
A Shared Agenda for Growth
Donna had visited the CHX stand at Merchandise World in January, but with a busy show floor and back-to-back conversations, stand visits rarely allow for the kind of depth a dedicated day together affords. This visit was a different proposition entirely. Both teams had the time and space to sit down properly, talk through the opportunity, and work out how to make the most of the partnership going forward. Cornish pasties for lunch were, of course, obligatory.
